Caspi and Zaltzman win men's Winner Epic Israel in Western Galilee

Caspi and Zaltzman take the title

Tomer Caspi and Tomer Zaltzman were crowned the men's champions of Winner Epic Israel 2026, with the 11th edition of the race bringing about 500 riders to the Western Galilee.

The event was staged around Mateh Asher Regional Council and Nahariya, and its scale is the key point for endurance riders. A route spanning over 300 kilometers and 3,000 meters of climbing is not simply a test of who can produce the highest peak effort. It rewards pacing, fueling, durability, and the ability to manage repeated load over a long, uneven course.

That profile helps explain why the result matters beyond the headline. On a course this long, race-winning performance is usually shaped as much by avoiding costly fades and handling cumulative fatigue as by decisive accelerations. For Caspi and Zaltzman, being crowned champions signals they were able to meet the full demand of the route, not just one selective moment.
