Climb profile on the Karoo
BetaThe climb you are on, or the next one on your route - grade, gradient profile, distance and gain to the top, and when you'll get there. Works without pairing.

Climb profile answers the question every climb asks: how much is left, and how hard is it? It works without pairing and without a NeverChill account.

How to read it
On a climb, the full page shows:
- Header: "Climb 2 of 3" on a route, or "Climbing" without one.
- The grade you are on now, with a badge: Easy, Moderate, Hard, Steep or Very steep.
- To top: distance to the summit.
- Gain left: height still to climb.
- Avg left: the average grade of what is left.
- Top in: when you'll reach the top at your current pace, marked
~because it is an estimate. - VAM: metres (or feet) climbed per hour.
- Time, or your gap to a target time when there is one.
- The profile: coloured by steepness, with what you have ridden hatched and a marker where you are. The axis shows the distance to the top, "2.0KM TO TOP".
Coming up to a climb, the header says "Climb 2 of 3 starts in" and the value is the distance to its start, with its length, average grade, gain, steepest grade, summit height and the climbs left.
At the top, the header says "Summit · climb 2 of 3" and the value is your time on it, with the average grade, VAM, gain, distance and summit height.
A climb whose shape the Karoo had to estimate says "· estimated" in the header.

Without a climb, the value is the grade you are on now, with your last stretch of road as "Last 1.8KM".

None.
What it needs
- Nothing from NeverChill. No pairing, no Pro, no connection.
- A route to see climbs before you reach them. Without a route, it shows the climb you are on once the Karoo detects it.
Good to know
- It uses the climbs the Karoo finds on the route you navigate, and the Karoo's elevation.
- "Top in" assumes you keep your current pace. It moves as you speed up or fade.
Tips
- Give it its own full page and use it instead of the Karoo's built-in climb field, not beside it.
- On a hilly day, a third of your main page is enough to see the grade and what's left.
