Upload a FIT, GPX or TCX file
Add a ride by uploading its .fit, .gpx or .tcx file from the web or the app.
Updated 2026-10-15
What this is for
If a ride didn't sync, or your device isn't connected, you can upload the ride file yourself. Uploaded rides get the same maps, power and analysis as synced ones.
Before you start
- NeverChill accepts .fit, .gpx and .tcx files, up to 50 MB each.
- Get the file from your bike computer, watch or its app. Most apps have an "export" or "download original" option.
- You can upload several files at once.
Upload on the web
- In the top bar, open the More menu and choose Import activity. You can also go to neverchill.com/activities/upload.
- On Import activities, drag your files onto Drag and drop files here, or click the box to browse.
- Watch the progress (Uploading with a count). You can keep using NeverChill while it runs.
- When it's done, choose View all activities.

If you're offline, files wait in a queue (Waiting to upload) and send when you're back online. Tap Retry queued uploads to try again sooner.
No file?
Choose No file? Log it manually on the web upload page to enter a ride by hand.
Troubleshooting
- File too large (50 MB max). Split the ride in your device's app or export a smaller format.
- Unsupported format. Use .fit, .gpx, or .tcx. Export the ride again in one of those formats.
- Couldn't read this file. or NeverChill could not import this file. The file may be damaged. Export it again from your device's app and retry.
- Already uploaded. You already have this ride, so nothing new was added.
- An upload failed on the web. Add the file again. The retry button isn't available yet on the web.
- The ride says Processing… See My activity says Processing.
Still stuck? In the app, go to Settings and tap Report a bug or idea under Help. On the web, choose Send feedback from the More menu.
