Disconnect a device or delete its data
Stop a device from syncing, and if you want, permanently delete everything it brought into NeverChill.
Updated 2026-10-15
What this is for
There are two separate things you can do:
- Disconnect stops new syncing. It never deletes your rides, routes or workouts in NeverChill.
- Delete imported data permanently removes the rides and health records that device brought in. There's no undo.
Before you start
- To delete a device's data, you have to disconnect it first. Otherwise the next sync would bring everything straight back.
- If you just want a copy of your data, use Your data in the app's account settings instead. Exporting doesn't change or delete anything.
Disconnect a device
On the web
- In the top bar, open the More menu, choose Account settings, then choose Devices & apps under Integrations. You can also go straight to neverchill.com/settings/integrations.
- Open the device's page.
- Click Disconnect and the device name.
- Confirm. New rides stop syncing.
In the app
The NeverChill mobile app is in beta (TestFlight on iPhone, a preview build on Android).
- Tap Me, tap the settings gear, then tap Devices & apps under Integrations.
- Tap the device.
- Tap Disconnect, then tap again to confirm.
Disconnecting works the same on the web and in the app:
- New syncs stop. For health connections, new recovery, sleep and strain records stop syncing.
- Your rides, routes and workouts in NeverChill are never deleted.
- Routes and workouts NeverChill sent to the device's account are removed from that account.
- NeverChill forgets the sign-in for that device.

Delete everything a device imported
- Disconnect the device first (see above).
- Open the device's page again.
- Choose Delete imported data.
- Type the confirmation phrase shown.
- On the web, choose Delete permanently. In the app, tap Delete imported data.
What gets deleted:
- Rides and health records that device brought in
- The original files behind them
- Routes that were built from those rides
What stays:
- A ride that another source also recorded stays, without this device's copy.
- Nothing else on your account is touched.
In the app you'll see Deletion queued. and then Deletion is under way. Big histories take a while.
Reconnecting later
You can connect the same device again at any time. If you only disconnected, reconnecting links up the same history, with no duplicates. If you deleted the data, you can import your history again.
Troubleshooting
- I can't find Delete imported data. Disconnect the device first.
- I deleted by mistake. Deletion can't be undone. Reconnect and import your history again.
Still stuck? In the app, go to Settings and tap Report a bug or idea under Help. On the web, choose Send feedback from the More menu.
